The Glen Rock Depot site is traversed by Town Branch Creek Greenway, which is included in the Asheville Greenways Master Plan. This protected open space for conservation and recreation will provide residents and tenants of the Glen Rock Depot with access to walking and biking paths and spaces to enjoy the beauty of our region.

In addition to Glen Rock Depot Businesses 12 Bones Smokehouse, theClingman Café,Odyssey Center for the Arts, theFine Arts League of the Carolinas,Asheville Greenworks,Green’s Mini Mart, andThe Wedge Brewerybring hundreds of visitors to the area daily.

Other residential apartments and homes surround the Glen Rock Depot, as well as offices for an interior design firm, the Glen Rock Depot’s landscape architecture firm,SiteWorks Studios, a chiropractor, and a physical therapist.  Asheville Greenworks is a nonprofit working to improve the streetscapes of our neighborhoods.  Northlight Studios and many other artist studios are in the neighborhood as well.
