Thank you for your interest in the Glen Rock Depot.

The Glen Rock Depot is a mixed use, community development in Asheville’s River Arts District and historic South French Broad and Livingston neighborhoods. Once certified, it will include one of the first mixed-use LEED certified buildings in Asheville, and is being developed by non-profit community development corporation Mountain Housing Opportunities.

The Glen Rock Depot is one of the few active development projects currently stimulating the local economy. It is a unique development combining commercial/retail, small business and living spaces at an affordable rate to revitalize an underutilized area of Asheville, the River Arts District.

Notable Achievements

• Once certified, 372 Depot at the Glen Rock Depot will be the one of the first LEED-certified multifamily affordable housing developments in North Carolina; it will be one of the first LEED-certified multi-use buildings in Asheville
• Estimated $15 million tax base increase within five years
• Estimated local contracting activity of $3 million plus
• Estimated workforce of 100-150 during course of construction
