The Magnetic Field & The Magnetic Theatre

The Magnetic Field is one of Asheville's most popular new restaurants, with a superb dinner menu by co-executive chefs Liam Luttrell-Rowland and Jason Rowland, as well as award-winning cocktails.  Adjoining the restaurant is a professional and accessible theatre, The Magnetic Theatre which boasts performances of all kinds: theatre, music, comedy, dance, storytelling, poetry slams, and is the only performance venue in the South to present all original works.

“I opened The Magnetic Field because I love creating things,” says owner Chall Gray. “And, the River Arts District is the most exciting area in Asheville; we’re excited to be part of the neighborhood.”

What you might not know:

Food: one of TMF chefs, Liam Luttrell-Rowland, recently cooked a meal for formerGourmet Magazine editor Ruth Riechl.

Cocktails: all of TFM juices are fresh squeezed, and we also make a lot of other ingredients (drams, cordials, bitters) in house.

Theatre: TMT is a professional theatre, which means that all actors, writers and technicians are paid for every show they work on.
